During the academic year, excluding Summer Quarter, student parents may apply for assistance with a portion of their childcare costs through our need–based Childcare Assistance Program (CAP). To be eligible, students must be enrolled in credit bearing classes and meet a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. Individual award amounts will be based on the total number of applications received, financial need of applicants, and the amount of funds available. Please note that if awarded, funds will only be issued to pay licensed child care providers.
Student parents can obtain the CAP application through the Women’s Programs department. Women’s Programs contact information and CAP details are available at: http://seattlecentral.edu/womens-prog/programs.php
