Cooperative Education Programs
Earn college credit while gaining valuable experience. The Internship and Travel/Study programs provide students with an opportunity to earn credit for employment, internship, volunteer, and international travel/study experiences that will enhance their professional and personal development, leadership development, and sense of civic responsibility.
Internship/Work Experience Program
Earn college credit for internship or employment activities. Advantages include the opportunity to explore or clarify career choices, acquire career-related experience, and improve or learn new skills applicable to future employment.
Community Service/Volunteer – CMS 197, 198, and 199
Earn credit for volunteer service in non-profit, community-based organizations, schools, and/or hospitals.
Variable credits awarded as follows:
- 33 hours/quarter = 1 credit
- 66 hours/quarter = 2 credits
- 99 hours/quarter = 3 credits
Travel/Study Courses
Earn credit for language enhancement, research-based, or internship/volunteer experiences in an international setting.
